Welcome to Kakum National Park
Kakum National Park is on coast of southern Ghana, in West Africa. It protects an area of rain forest, home to endangered mammals such as forest elephants, bongo antelopes and primates like the Diana monkey. The park is rich in butterflies and birds, including African grey parrots and hornbills. The Canopy Walkway, suspended 30 meters above the ground, provides treetop views of the forest.

Canopy Walkway
Canopy Walkway is composed of 350m of suspended bridges and seven tree platforms that reach a height of 30m above the forest floor.
From the tree platforms and brides, amazing walking and spectacular view of rainforest eco-system you have. Don’t be scared if the bridges are shaken when some people walk on the bridge.
The Canopy walking tour is about 1-hour walk with a guide.
You can choose the starting point, depending on how long do you intend to hike. A night walk is also provided, you can feel night life in the forest.
Hiking/Nature Walk
The Hiking/Nature walk is accompanied by well-trained experts. The experts lead you to Canopy Walk, Tree house, and deep inside the forest from two starting point.

Camping and Tree House
This campsite is located 200 meters away from visitor centor of Kakum national park.You can spend your time in the rainforest with campsite.Visitor who want to camp here must bring your camp equipment by yourself.
